The meeting of Council of the Town of Fort Frances was held in the Council Chambers , Civic Centre on November 9, 2015 from 6:28 p.m. to 6:54 p.m.

PRESENT:

Mayor R. Avis, Chairperson; Councillors J. Albanese, W. Brunetta, J. Caul, D. Kitowski and G. Paul Ryan.

ALSO PRESENT:

Kitowski - Ryan: THAT the Letter of Interest dated October 27, 2015 from Mr. Jay Burnett for Lot 27 and 28 in the Industrial Park be received and further that the matter be referred to the Planning and Development Executive Committee.

Ryan - Kitowski: THAT the report dated November 3, 2015 from E. Slomke, Town Clerk re: Council Remuneration be approved and further that one third of Council remuneration continue to be deemed to offset expenses incident to the discharge of duties as members of Council.

By-Laws:

7.1

Being a by-law to approve an agreement with 1943293 Ontario Ltd.

Albanese - Brunetta: THAT the following by-laws be introduced and read a first, second and third time, be finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed with the Corporate Seal and become law forthwith:

• A by-law to approve an agreement with 1943293 Ontario Ltd..

• A by-law to amend By-law 14/13, which appoints Building Oficials for the Corporation of the Town of Fort Frances.

• A by-law to authorize the delivery of marriage solemnization services through the Office of the Clerk for the Corporation of the Town of Fort Frances.

• A by-law to authorize the sale of certain municipal lands to Jason Supinski.
