The meeting of Rainy Lake Market Square Advisory Committee of the Town of Fort Frances was held in the Civic Centre - Committee Room on June 29, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:59 p.m.

Approval of the May 9, 2016 meeting minutes

Mallory-Caul THAT the minutes of the May 9, 2016 meeting be approved as circulated

Review of the Public Open House and design reveal held June 2, 2016 - Call with SMM

- A review of the open house was conducted by SMM as well as an overview of the proposed design changes coming out of the open house.

Project Design Update

An update on the progress on the design phase of the project was completed by SMM as well as a detail of the next steps as we near tendering.

6.1

Review of Godrich, ON Courthouse Square - J. McTaggart

- A review of the provided pictures of Godrich was provided by Mr. McTaggart highlighting some of the unique aspects of this square as well as some issues he saw with the design.

6.2

Project Review and Update for new committee members

- With new members from the BIA, an overview on the project from it's inception stemming from the closure of the hotel to date was completed to bring the new members up to date on the project as well as to remind the original members where the roots of the project stemmed from.
